HAVE A LOOK AT THIS YEAR'S HIGHLIGHTS

 

So far, geometries such as the bore holes of e.g. injection valves in the automotive industry could hardly be measured optically. Lateral probing of components with vertical surfaces was limited to tactile measuring systems, CT solutions or complex special solutions. This changes with a new function of the optical coordinate measuring system µCMM, which we will present at this year's Control show in Germany, Stuttgart. Vertical surfaces of more than 90° can now also be measured optically.

The newly developed Module provides visualization and quantitative analysis of tool wear based on high resolution 3D measurement data. The software is an enhancement of the Alicona product range for automatic cutting edge measurement.

Alicona Pick & Place is an automation solution that makes it possible to set up a complete automation process within ten minutes. Therefore an optical measurement system is extended with a robot arm to automatically pick, place, measure and sort components. Pick & Place can also be used in smaller production environments and pays for itself within ten months.

Highly accurate optical 3D measurement systems

Cobots

Cobots combine a collaborative 6-axis robot and a robust optical 3D measurement sensor to deliver traceable and repeatable high-resolution measurements, even in production. They require no prior knowledge of metrology and make handling, programming, and executing measurement series easy. This is made possible by intuitive hand-guided controls for the teach-in of measurement series, automatic measurement evaluation, and a no-enclosures safety concept. 

InfiniteFocus G5

With the Bruker Alicona G5 users benefit from a micro-coordinate 3D measuring machine and a surface roughness measuring device, combined in a single system. The principle of Focus-Variation allows the measurement of shape and roughness on small, large and heavy components. With an automation interface, InfiniteFocus can also be used for fully automatic measurement in production.

InfiniteFocus SL

InfiniteFocusSL is a cost efficient optical 3D measurement system for easy, fast and traceable measurement of form and finish on micro structured surfaces. Users measure both form and roughness of components with only one system. Measurements are achieved in seconds and features, such as a coaxial laser for quick and easy focusing, further increase usability. With an automation interface, InfiniteFocusSL is also applied for fully automatic measurement in production.

 

EdgeMasterX

It is a fully automated cutting edge measurement system for quality assurance of drills, millers and other round tools to be applied in production. Specifically, the EdgeMasterX enables 3D measurement of multiple cutting edges. When utilized in combination with a motorized rotation unit, users benefit from the measurement of multiple tool edges, even chamfered edges, in one single measurement run.
